Turning Passion Into Platforms — at WIIT, we Empower Women Through Technology and Innovation.
Mission
The mission of the WIIT Program is to empower young women with advanced technical skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and the financial resources necessary to create innovative tech startups that drive social and economic change.
Vision
Our vision is to create a world where women play an equal and active role in shaping the future of technology and business innovation, contributing to inclusive growth and sustainable development in Ghana.
Who We Are
The Women in IT (WIIT) Program is a flagship initiative of Stalwart Liege Consulting Co. Ltd., launched in close partnership with the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA). This transformative project is designed to equip Ghanaian women between the ages of 18 and 30 years with advanced technical skills, entrepreneurial training, and the startup funding and support necessary to build thriving careers and businesses in the technology sector.
At the heart of this initiative is our partnership with GEA, which will be with us every step of the way — from co-developing and co-applying for sponsor funding, to ensuring governance and sustainability of the program through a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). GEA’s commitment ensures that the WIIT Program aligns with national objectives for inclusive growth and economic empowerment.
Training and certifying 100 women annually in advanced IT, software development and AI.
Launching at least 5 new female-founded startups each year
Creating over 300 direct and indirect employment opportunities annually
Contributing to gender inclusivity in technology across Africa and beyond.
Aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, 5, 8 and 9 – Quality Education, Gender Equality, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
Our Impact
The WIIT Program is more than a training program — it is a strategic effort to close the gender gap in technology and innovation. Through a rigorous 12-month process that combines online instruction, hands-on mentoring, and seed funding opportunities, WIIT empowers 100 women annually to become tech entrepreneurs and innovators.
Our measurable impact goals include:
